I got this printer at extreme cheap rate from OLD stock store. The printer
was in bad shape . Its paper loading tray was missing.
The printer however, could connect to the computer and prints were being sent from PC

I found that button/sensor that lets printer know that tray is attached.

So i opened the printer, and taped the button. Its first 2 points.

So it used two books as guiders of my photo paper into the printer.
I tried printing with a smaller paper which would fall off the back side, due to its length issue.
Sony uses 18.5cmm length.

So i attached pieces of paper on KODAK paper..
with pieces of paper tape.
The paper ran out fine through the printer
The ribbon/cartridge of dye sublimation printer may be REWOUND
I used a gear from old cassette player.
Gear was attached to motor
USB cable used to power the motor
I was able to rewind the cartridge/ribbon, but not that good as motors power was not enough.
Will give more volts to motor and see if it works better.
