Clinical Signs

Short's Maneuvre : (left lateral for palpating spleen) when spleen is implapable, turn the patient left lateral,  press lower ribs with left hand pushing spleen forward, and palpate spleen with right hand.

sine de dance sign : Empty feeling over right lower quadrant as seen in intussusception.

Dr Koops method of palpating inguinal testes : (moisten hands with soap and palpate along inguinal canal).
