IMCI video demonstrations offer practical assessment skills , to differentiate healthy infant from the sick one. These are easy to understand. However, for a doctor, these are very basic set of knowledge , except from mother feeding tips videos. Which is evident from their goal of production, to impart knowledge to mothers to identify their sick infant .

Another benefit that a doctor can have from these videos is that he can learn how to teach and train a mother to identify when her infant is sick. It is d/t simplicity if their video lectures , that anyone can teach those assessment skills to any person who has no clinical knowledge.
