Adenomas in thyroid are mostly follicular .They are painless and well demarcated lesions , havind a well defined fibrous capsule. Histologically they form nests or trabeculae containing very abundant colloid.
Please note for your viva voce; Hurthle cell adenomas appear under microscope as grnular eosinophilic cells rich in mitochondria.
